The University of Hartford Red team snapped the Anderson University Rocket League winning streak at six with a 2-1, 6-0, 3-1 sweep during Monday's Eastern College Athletic Conference (ECAC) matchup.
Hartford Red (1-0, 1-0) outshot the Ravens (7-4, 0-1) by a 21-6 margin. The Hawks also held a 16-5 advantage in shots on goal.
Jack Long (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) led Anderson with a match score of 990. The freshman from Pendleton recorded one goal, one assist and six saves.
Cam May (Marietta, Ohio/Marietta) provided a match score of 876. The sophomore from Marietta, Ohio contributed one goal, one assist and four saves.
Jonathan Williams (Lynn, Ind./Randolph Southern) turned in two saves and a match score of 340.
