Flames Fend Off Ravens
University of Illinois Chicago (CGC UIC RL C) fended off the Anderson University Rocket League team 3-2 during Saturday’s Collegiate Star League (CSL) matchup.

The DePaul University JV Ruby Team (2-1) took a 2-0 victory against the Anderson University League of Legends team (0-3) in CSL action.
ROCKET LEAGUE: CGC UIC RL C 3, ANDERSON 2
Anderson (1-3) shut out the Flames (4-0) in Game 1 with a 1-0 victory. Jonathan Williams netted the lone goal. The Flames then put together a 2-1 win in Game 2 and a 6-1 victory in Game 3. Anderson then captured a 4-3 overtime win in Game 4. During Game 4, Williams scored three goals in regulation and Jack Long produced the overtime game-winner to even the match at 2-all. The Flames took a 2-0 lead in Game 5. Williams found the back of the net with 21 seconds remaining to cut the deficit to one, but the Flames were able to hold of the Ravens for the game and match victory.
Long contributed three goals, two assists and a match-high score of 1,950. The freshman from Pendleton led the Ravens with eight saves and 11 shots. Williams produced a team-high five goals. Jacob Spratley paced the Ravens with three assists.

The Ravens fielded a started lineup of Sam Wells at top, Johnathan Alford as the jungler, Noah Schram at mid, Reece McDaniel as the bot and Hannah Gross as support in both games.
