Coffman Paces Ravens in Stateline Shootout
Anderson University men’s golf sophomore Carson Coffman (Coshocton, Ohio / Coshocton) tied for 40th place to lead the Ravens during the two-day Stateline Shootout, which concluded on Sunday in Harrison, Ohio.

Coffman compiled a two-day score of 164, firing rounds of 84 and 80 during the par-71 layout at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club.
Konner Johnson (Muncie, Ind. / Yorktown) took 59th with a 177 after shooting rounds of 87 and 90. Joey Stern (Lapel, Ind. / Lapel) finished 61st with a 189, behind rounds of 93 and 96.
The Stateline Shootout also served as a Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Preview. Anderson will return to Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club for the three-day HCAC Championships, beginning on April 29.
"This was a great opportunity for us to get some experience on the course that our Conference Championship will be played on in the spring," Coach Carter Collins said. "I continue to be encouraged by our team's positive outlook and our willingness to work towards improvement."
The Ravens are set to battle in the two-day 2nd Annual Randal Sadler Invitational on Saturday at the Harbor Links at Sagamore Resort in Liberty.
