COACH CARTER COLLINS'S COMMENTS
Our first round was a little rough, which was relatively unsurprising given the difficulty of the course and the fact that almost 80 percent of our team had never played a collegiate round of golf before. We made huge improvements in the second round, and I believe that our performances there is a truer indicator of our ability level this year. I think that we have the talent to compete with most of the teams in our conference, which is impressive given how young we are. We're looking forward to being back down to Belterra for the conference tournament this coming spring.
