COACH DIJON KNIGHT'S COMMENTS
I'm very satisfied with our collective effort over the past two days. We showed some grit competing through cold weather with the windy conditions, especially Saturday morning in Round 1. The greens were playing slow causing us to miss some shots short, which can be frustrating for our guys because they know they left a few strokes on the table. However, I feel they didn't let a few bad misses take them out of the game mentally. As a team, we cut 16 strokes off our Round 1 score in Round 2, helping us move up [from seventh to sixth] as well. I'm starting to see more consistency with our scores as well and a few guys starting to heat up at the right time, which excites me as we look ahead for the conference tournament coming up next.
