Ravens Finish Third in IU-Kokomo Cougar Classic

The Anderson University women's cross country team finished third place in the IU-Kokomo Cougar Classic on Friday in Kokomo.
 
Rebecca Gregg (Mansfield, Ohio/Ontario) led the Ravens by taking ninth in the college division with a 5K time of 20 minutes, 51.3 seconds. Noelle Loller (Lapel, Ind./Lapel) earned 12th (21:16.3), Makayla Barbour (Westville, Ind./Chesterton) came in 19th (23:38.2), Bailey Wallace (New Palestine, Ind./New Palestine) secured 20th (25:05.7) and Katelyn Englert (Birdseye, Ind./Forest Park) closed out in 21st (25:42.7).
 
Indiana Wesleyan University captured first with 20 points while Indiana University-Kokomo took second with 50 points and Anderson placed third with 74 points.
 
Indiana-Kokomo's Lexi Jackson recorded a first-place finish with a time of 19:02.1.
 
Anderson battles in the IWU Twilight Classic next Friday at 6:15 p.m. in Marion.
