Ravens Secure 11th in Ray Bullock Invitational
The Anderson University women’s cross-country team competed at the Ray Bullock Invitational hosted by Taylor University on Friday in Upland. Anderson finished in 11th out of 15 teams in the 5K.

At the meet, the Ravens competed against five nationally-ranked National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) teams, which include No. 1 St. Francis University (Ill.), No.2 Taylor, No. 5 Indiana Wesleyan University, No. 10 Huntington University, and No. 14 Cornerstone University. The Ravens also raced against Grace College (Ind.) who is receiving votes.
Leading the Ravens once again was Noelle Loller (Lapel, Ind. / Lapel). Loller finished in 27th out of 166 racers with a time of 19 minutes, 52.2 seconds, earning a personal record. Behind her in 41st place was Lydia Dyer (Harlan, Ind. / Woodlan) coming in with a 20:19.3. Then, Emilie Penick (Brookville, Ohio / Brookville) earned 96th as she ran a 22:23.2. Baileigh Stewart (Fishers, Ind. / Fishers) finished with a time of 23:56.0 to earn 127th place. Callie Guthrie (Beavercreek, Ohio / Beavercreek) came in with a 25:16.4 to earn 138th. Securing 149th was Jenna O'Donohue (Muncie, Ind. / Muncie Central) with a 26:08.7 time. Not far behind her with a 26:42.0 was Mariah Sanders (Lincoln, Ill. / Lincoln) for 152nd, while Makayla Barbour (Valparaiso, Ind. / Chesterton) came in right behind her at 153rd with a 26:46.8. Rounding out the Ravens was Kiley Huff (Frankton, Ind. / Frankton) with a time of 32:08.0 in 163rd place.
Anderson will be competing again on October 15 as they travel to Wilmington, Ohio to compete in the JennaStrong Classic hosted by the Wilmington College Quakers. The race is set to start at 4:30PM.
