Anderson closed out the night in fourth place with a team score of 143. Niles Lumpkin represented Anderson from Special Olympics-Madison County. Karen Lumpkin, a family member of Niles's, also competed for the Ravens. Rounding out the team for the Ravens is Anderson men's soccer junior Noah LaBelle, Anderson SAAC Advisor Jennifer Myhre and Special Olympics-Madison County Coordinator Bob Helvering.
The event welcomed over 75 participants from nine of the member schools, with Student Athletes and Special Olympic Athletes teaming up for a night of fun. This year's trivia event was themed 'Through the Decades', and after five rounds of trivia and a final Jeopardy round, the Pioneers from Transylvania claimed the title with a score of 153 points. Just behind in second place was the team from Bluffton University, who took second with 150 points. The top-half of the leaderboard was a tight race, with Hanover College (144) taking third, Anderson University (143) claiming fourth and Manchester University (142) finishing in fifth.
The night was filled with smiles and laughs. Following each round of trivia, the participants interacted in 'Brain Breaks', which featured a range of activities from scavenger hunts to dance offs. Bonus points were awarded to teams who stood out during the brain breaks and dressed to the events theme. Comedian Craig Tornquist served as the night's host, engaging every member of the audience, while also facilitating the Trivia contest.
