Audra (Hodge) Kauffman  – 2012 Athlete
 
Audra (Hodge) Kauffman came to Anderson University from Decatur, Ind., to play volleyball for the Ravens in the fall of 1998.
 
Hodge earned four letters in volleyball, was a three-time Team Captain, two-time Team MVP and All-Conference in each season from 1998-2001; leaving AU with 14 school records.
 
She still holds school records for career kills (1,776), attack percent (.366), service aces (193), service attempts (1,952), points (2,246.5) and points per game (4.50), which measures kills, assists and blocks.
 
She ranks second in career games played (499) and kills per game (3.56), fourth in attack attempts (3,933) and fifth in digs (1,553) and blocks (412). She also holds five season and game records and ranks in the top 10 in 35 other categories.
 
Hodge was also named the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete in 2002.
 
Audra earned her bachelor’s degree in Biology and Chemistry from Anderson University in 2002 and added her master’s degree in Cell and Molecular Biology from Boston University in 2004.
 
After leaving AU, she worked at the Novartis Institute for Biomedical Research, Eli Lilly and is currently employed by Van Andel Research Institute in Rockford, Mich.
 
Anderson University is proud to name Audra (Hodge) Kauffman to the Athletic Hall of Fame.
