Paul A. Lambert - 2002 Athlete
Paul Lambert came to Anderson University from Bellefontaine, Ohio in 1956 to play football, baseball and golf. He earned 12 letters in three sports, including All-Conference in football, before graduating in 1960.
While at AU, Lambert was president of the “A” Club, a member of Sachem, the Men’s Senate and Who’s Who in American Colleges and Universities. He was named the first recipient of the Ernest P. Rangazas Award, which is still given to the outstanding senior athlete.
Since leaving Anderson, Lambert has coached football, baseball and track and been the author of a book “Marine Emergency Response Manual,” which has been distributed in four continents.
Lambert currently resides in Lake Jackson, Tex., with his wife Irene. They have four children – Guy, Paul Jr., Ronald and Donald
Anderson University is proud to name Paul A. Lambert to its Athletic Hall of Fame.
