Thomas Lee – 2010 Athlete

Thomas Lee came to Anderson University in the fall of 1991 from Indianapolis, Ind., to play football.

Four years later, Lee held every major school rushing record and was a three-time All-Conference player and an All-American in 1993.  He set 16 school records during his four-year career for the Ravens, including season (1,236) and career (3,661) rushing yards and touchdowns (58).

Other career records he set were for rushing attempts (732), all-purpose yards (4,617), touchdowns (58) and points in a season (132) and career (348). Single-game marks he set were for touchdowns (5), longest run (91 yards), points (30) and consecutive 100-yard rushing games (7).

Lee still holds the career records for rushing touchdowns (55), total touchdowns (58) and points (348); season records for rushing touchdowns (20), rushing attempts (262), points (132) and total touchdowns (22). Even more impressive, he has the top three season totals in touchdowns (20, 19 and 14) and the top two marks in rushing attempts (262, 225), points (132, 120) and total touchdowns (22 and 20).

In addition to his rushing totals, Lee caught 53 passes for 571 yards and three touchdowns and returned 18 kickoffs for 385 yards. He was also a member of the 1993 team, which went 10-0 in the regular season before falling to Albion in the national playoffs.

Anderson University is proud to name Thomas Lee to the Athletic Hall of Fame.
