Darryl Lehnus was a standout in both basketball and baseball while at Anderson. He won eight total varsity letters and was a four-year starter in both sports. Lehnus holds the basketball program record in assists per game - 11.3 in 1966-67. He is second on the all-time lists in career assists, career assists per game, and assists in a single season. Seven of the top ten single game assists records are held by Lehnus. On the diamond, Lehnus was an all-conference selection in 1966 and 1967. He holds program records in most defensive chances in a game and most putouts in a game. His .448 batting average during the 1966 season is tied for the fifth highest in program history.
