Kelly Spaulding came to Anderson in the fall of 1986 from Dresden, Ohio, to play basketball and run track. She left Anderson in 1990 as the all-time leading scorer (1,275) and rebounder (723) in women’s basketball – both of which were broken by Rachel Miller in 2001.

Spaulding-Packard was All-Conference four times in basketball and finished third in the conference track meet. She was named the Outstanding Senior Female Athlete in 1990. While at AU she was sports editor of the yearbook and on the newspaper staff. She was also the Homecoming Queen in 1989.

After graduation, she served as an assistant basketball coach at Colorado State before becoming a WNBA agent and working at Triple Crown Sports marketing group.

Spaulding-Packard resides in Ft. Collins, Colo., with her husband Rich (a 1988 AU grad) and their two children – Derek and Evan.

Anderson University is proud to name Kelly Spaulding-Packard to its Athletic Hall of Fame.
