Brian Williams won just about every honor awarded to a cross country and track runner during his career at Anderson University, including All-Conference, All-District, All-American and National Champion.

Williams left many distinguished marks in athletics while he competed for the Ravens -and many of his records still stand today. He was a three-time All-Conference (1983-85) and All-District runner and a three-time All-American (1984-86) in cross country.

In track, he was a four-time All-American and was a two-time national champion in the mile in indoor track. He was a four-time All-Conference selection (1985-86) and five-time All-American (1986-88) in outdoor track. He also won the 1,500 four straight times at the Little State meet.

Williams was an assistant coach at AU for nine years and currently resides in Anderson with his wife, the former Valerie Bingham, and their two children – Jordan and Parker.

Anderson University is proud to name Brian Allen Williams to its Athletic Hall of Fame.
