Brown Tabbed HCAC Player of the Week

The Ravens (2-2) went 1-1 last week, competing in two matches during Saturday's triangular in Greenville, Ill. Anderson fell to Webster University (2-1) in a 5-4 decision before fighting past Greenville University (1-3) by a score of 5-4.
Brown finished 4-0 on the week. She partnered with Megan Long (New Palestine, Ind. / New Palestine) to earn an 8-3 victory at No. 2 doubles against Webster's Emma Ferguson/Katarina Serbentas. Brown then claimed a 6-3, 6-0 victory against Ferguson at No. 3 singles.
Against Greenville, Brown and Morgan Nation (Middletown, Ind. / Shenandoah) recorded an 8-2 victory at No. 2 doubles against Shaling Reynolds/Claudia Principal. Brown then followed up by posting a 7-5, 6-1 victory against Addison Brannon at No. 2 singles.
Anderson opens the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) season with Franklin College (0-2, 0-1) on Wednesday at the Community Sport & Wellness Center in Pendleton.
