Ravens Coast Past Spartans
The Anderson University women's tennis team coasted past Manchester University with a 9-0 victory during Wednesday's Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) matchup in North Manchester.

Anderson moved to 9-1 overall with a 4-0 HCAC record. Manchester fell to 1-9 overall with a 1-4 conference record. Anna Creech (Richmond, Ind./Richmond) and Jordyn Roper (Belleville, Ill./Althoff Catholic) did not lose a game during the entire match while Jasmine Blair (Clearwater, Fla./Homeschool/Largo) and Claire Miller (Indianapolis, Ind./Homeschool) did not lose a singles game.

Katrina Berban (Seguin, Texas/New Braunfels)/Blair (8-1) claimed an 8-1 victory against Karly Eichenauer/Morgan Brazo (2-7) at No. 1 doubles, Allison Newman (Greenwood, Ind./Greenwood)/Miller (6-3) put together an 8-1 win against Kaitlyn Burger/Maddy Russow (2-6) at No. 2 doubles and Creech/Roper (5-1) took an 8-0 win against Michayle Rasbaugh/Rebecca Pottersfield-Winstead (0-7) at No. 3 doubles.

In singles, Berban (10-0) secured a 6-3, 6-0 victory against Eichenauer (4-6) at No. 1 singles, Newman (4-5) fought to a 6-2, 6-4 victory against Brazo (2-7) at No. 2 singles, Blair (8-1) took a 6-0, 6-0 win against Burger (1-9) at No. 3 singles, Miller (8-2) coasted to a 6-0, 6-0 win against Russow (1-8) at No. 4 singles, Creech (4-3) turned in a 6-0, 6-0 win against Rasbaugh (0-9) at No. 5 singles and Roper (10-0) put together a 6-0, 6-0 win against Pottersfield-Winstead (0-9) at No. 6 singles.
