The Anderson University women's tennis team (4-7) fought past Concordia University Wisconsin (5-12) by a score of 4-3 on Tuesday at the United States Tennis Association National Campus in Orlando, Fla.
On Wednesday at the United States Tennis Association National Campus, Anderson's match with Wartburg College was cut short due to rain. The two teams completed their doubles matches, but not their singles matches. As a result, the match was changed to a hidden dual, which counts the doubles matches on individual doubles records, but does not affect either teams' overall records.
Adrian College (4-3) edged Anderson 4-3 on Thursday at Sanlando Park in Alamonte Springs, Fla.
COACH SCOTT GREVE'S COMMENTS
- It was a very productive Spring Break for Raven Tennis. Our players are taking the necessary steps for us to improve and move toward competing for the HCAC Championships.
- The women had extremely competitive matches. We are still trying to find the right combinations at doubles, but I think we all feel the ladies are moving in the right direction and becoming more confident with every match.
