The Anderson University women's tennis team swept Alma College with a 9-0 victory on Saturday at the Community Sport and Wellness Center in Pendleton.
Anderson (11-5) and Alma (1-2) resumed their match, which started on Oct. 2 in Alma, Mich. The match was suspended after the completion of doubles due to heavy rain. Anderson held a 3-0 lead through that point.
COACH MATT MOORE'S COMMENTS
It was great to return to action. I was proud of our ability to win the mental battle. Our players allowed the matches to come to them and played within themselves. It's our first match back and we kept the momentum going from the fall.
