Bontrager Selected to Charlie Wrublewski Invitational All-Tournament Team

"Felicity continues to be one of our consistent offensive threats," Coach Tami Miller said. "Her level of athleticism is what makes her a great all-around player. She put up good numbers for us in every match [during the tournament] and also helps us with her speed in the backcourt."
The Ravens went 2-2 during the tournament. Anderson captured two wins on Friday, locking up a 22-25, 25-18, 28-26, 26-24 victory against Wilmington College (2-6) and a 25-13, 25-13, 25-23 win against Manchester University (4-5). On Saturday, the Ravens fell to Greenville University (3-1) by a score of 25-17, 25-12, 25-18 and to Mount St. Joseph University (7-2) by a score of 25-20, 25-14, 25-22. Mount St. Joseph entered the weekend receiving votes in the latest American Volleyball Coaches Association (AVCA) NCAA Division III poll.
In four matches and 13 sets, Bontrager racked up 29 kills, nine blocks, seven service aces, 16 digs and a .333 attack percentage. Bontrager posted averages of 2.23 kills per set and 1.23 digs per set.
To open the tournament against Wilmington, Bontrager recorded 12 kills, three blocks and a .440 attack percentage. Bontrager then put together a .333 hitting percentage against Manchester. Against Greenville, Bontrager notched seven kills and a .294 attack percentage. Bontrager then produced four blocks and six kills against Mount St. Joseph.
The Ravens are scheduled for four matches this weekend during the Bishop Invitational in Delaware, Ohio. On Friday, Anderson takes on Capital University (1-5) at 5 p.m. and Ohio Wesleyan University (2-6) at 7 p.m. During Saturday's matches, the Ravens face off with Otterbein University (6-2) at 10 a.m. and University of Mount Union (8-0) at 2 p.m. Otterbein and Mount Union are each receiving votes nationally.
