Felicity Bontrager was selected as the team MVP. Brooke Troyer was named as the honorary captain. Erin Roach and Karsen Brandt each shared the honor as the team's most improved player while Melanie Marchena received the Raven Award.
Bontrager garnered first-team all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) honors. The senior from Goshen was also selected as HCAC Defensive Player of the Week this season, the program's first conference player of the week, since 2016. Bontrager posted a .328 attack percentage as well as set averages of 2.24 kills and 0.69 blocks. She notched 217 kills, 67 blocks, 19 service aces and 105 digs. Bontrager leads the conference in hitting percentage and ranks sixth in the HCAC in blocks per set.
Troyer received all-HCAC Honorable Mention. The senior from Elkhart collected 4.30 digs per set, which ranks eighth in the HCAC. Troyer notched 417 digs, 16 service aces and 63 assists.
Roach scattered 2.63 digs per set. She totaled 92 digs and 11 service aces for the year. Brandt also added a service ace for the Ravens.
Marchena earned the Raven Award. The Raven Award is an honor that embodies a positive attitude, great work ethic and supportiveness for teammates.
Players were also recognized for their HCAC awards. Bontrager was tabbed with first-team all-HCAC honors while Troyer and Shaylen Perry each received all-HCAC Honorable Mention. Marchena was selected to the HCAC Sportsmanship Team. The Anderson volleyball team tied for first in the HCAC with nine academic all-conference recipients. Bontrager, Ally Hall, Jimena Montano, Hannah Rady, Roach, Alexis Sorrell, Kate Todd, Ashlyn Transier and Troyer each earned academic all-conference honors.
