Raven Volleyball Announces Fall 2023 Team Awards

Shaylen Perry was named the team MVP while Kate Todd was selected as the honorary captain. Trinity Benedict was named the team's most improved player while Taylor Ridge received the Raven award.
The Ravens also earned awards from the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) in the fall. Perry and Paige Ricica garnered second-team all-HCAC honors. Paige Ricica was also selected to the HCAC all-newcomer team. Cara Burkall, Lauren Dungan, Kelsie Marker, Olivia Ricica and Todd each earned academic all-HCAC recognition while Todd was also named to the HCAC Sportsmanship team.
Perry contributed a .309 hitting percentage, which ranked second in the HCAC. She also recorded 2.13 kills per set and 0.57 blocks per set.
Todd dished out 5.30 assists per set, which ranked sixth in the HCAC. She also turned in 0.35 service aces per set and 1.87 digs per set.
Benedict produced stats of 1.34 kills per set, 0.41 blocks per set and a .128 hitting percentage.
Ridge earned the Raven Award. The Raven Award is an honor that embodies a positive attitude, great work ethic and supportiveness for teammates.
