Ravens Complete Mount St. Joseph Stateline Shootout

The Anderson University women's golf team completed its season opener with the two-day Mount St. Joseph Stateline Shootout, which concluded on Sunday in Harrison, Ohio.
 
Haley Brown (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights), Taylor Gillum (Daleville, Ind./Daleville) and Erica Smatlak (Clackamas, Ore./Clackamas) competed for the Ravens as individuals. Gillum led the Ravens by tying for 42nd place with a two-day score of 198. The freshman from Daleville carded rounds of 100 and 98 on the par-73 layout at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club.
 
Brown tied for 57th with a 230, shooting rounds of 112 and 118. Smatlak turned in a 266, behind rounds of 136 and 130.
 
The Ravens return to action next Saturday in the Defiance Invitational at White Pines Golf Course in Swanton, Ohio.
