Ravens Hold Ninth in HCAC Championships
The Anderson University women's golf team holds ninth place after Round 1 of the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Championships on Saturday in Bluffton, Ohio.

Anderson compiled an 18-hole team score of 439.

Lauren Chapman (Noblesville, Ind./Heritage Christian School) holds 37th after shooting a 102 on the par-72 layout at Bluffton Golf Club. Taylor Gillum (Daleville, Ind./Daleville) sits in 38th after firing a round of 104. Haley Brown (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) holds 44th after carding a round of 114. Erica Smatlak (Clackamas, Ore./Clackamas) sits in 46th after putting together a round of 119.

Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology leads the HCAC Championships with a team score of 317. Transylvania University holds second with a 345. Franklin College and Manchester University are tied for third with team scores of 351. Hanover College (357) sits ahead of Mount St. Joseph University (363), Earlham College (368), Bluffton University (394) and Anderson (439).
