Ravens Begin Season with Record-Setting Trend in Red Wolves Fall Invitational

The Anderson University women's golf 'A' team took eighth place during the two-day Red Wolves Fall Invitational, which concluded on Saturday in Richmond.
Anderson's 'A' team compiled a 36-hole team score of 726 while the Anderson 'B' team finished ninth with a team score of 804. The Ravens' two-day score of 726 (+150) marks the program's lowest score since the Anderson Invitational in the Fall of 2014.
Lauren Chapman captured 29th place with a 36-hole score of 177. The senior from Carmel fired rounds of 91 and 86 on the par-72 layout at Highland Lake Golf Club. Chapman bested her 36-hole relative-to-par personal record (PR) and recorded the program's best 36-hole relative-to-par score (+33) since 2014.
Chloe Renihan fired the team's round low of 85. The freshman from Lapel posted an 18-hole relative-to-par score of +13, the program's lowest since 2014.

The Ravens return to action in the two-day Earlham Invitational, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 17. Day 1 of the Earlham Invitational is scheduled at the Forest Hills Country Club. The Ravens then compete in Day 2 of the Earlham Invitational on Sunday, Sept. 18 at Highland Lake Golf Club.
