Anderson University produced an 18-hole team score of 390.
Jayda Hurst (Pittsboro, Ind. / Tri-West) is currently T-25 in the individual standings. The freshman from Pittsboro fired a round of 94 on the par-72 layout at The Legends Golf Club.
Faith Firle (New Castle, Ind. / New Castle) is currently tied for 31st with a 97. Lauren Chapman (Carmel, Ind. / Heritage Christian School) currently holds 31st with a 99. Taylor Gillum (Daleville, Ind. / Daleville) is tied for 37th with a 100 while Lauren Benton (Frankton, Ind. / Frankton) sits in 51st with a 113.
Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology's Precious Saelee carded a round of 77 as she leads the HCAC individual standings after Day 1.
After Day 1, Rose-Hulman leads the team standings with a 318. Hanover College sits in second with a 336, ranking ahead of Transylvania University (343), Mount St. Joseph University (345), Franklin College (362), Defiance College (383), Bluffton University (388) and Anderson (390). Manchester University and Earlham College are both tied for ninth with team scores of 394, rounding out the team standings.
Anderson continues with Day 2 of the HCAC Championships on Saturday at 9 a.m.
