Anderson Takes Fifth in Stateline Shootout

Anderson put together a 36-hole team score of 819.
Taylor Gillum (Daleville, Ind./Daleville) captured 24th place with a score of 199 to lead the Ravens. The junior from Daleville carded rounds of 93 and 106 on the par-73 layout at Miami Whitewater Forest Golf Club.
Faith Firle (New Castle, Ind./New Castle) secured 27th with a 204, behind rounds of 103 and 101. Lauren Chapman (Carmel, Ind./Heritage Christian School) tied for 28th with a 205 after shooting rounds of 98 and 107. Jayda Hurst (Pittsboro, Ind./Tri-West) claimed 32nd with a 211, behind rounds of 94 and 117. Lauren Benton (Frankton, Ind./Frankton) finished 36th with a 235 after shooting rounds of 115 and 120. Emma Howe (Alexandria, Ind./Alexandria-Monroe) competed as an individual and placed 39th, shooting a 265 behind rounds of 128 and 137.
The Ravens are set to compete in the two-day Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Preview, beginning on Saturday, Sept. 11 in Franklin at The Legends Golf Club.
