Anderson University women's golf standouts Chloe Renihan and Mabrey Buis each earned all-tournament honors in the two-day Anderson Spring Invitational, which concluded on Sunday at Anderson Country Club in Anderson.
Four Anderson players and three Defiance College players competed in an individual match-play style format where a point is awarded for winning a hole and a half point is given for tying a hole. Players competing on a bye would score one point for shooting par or better and a half point for a single bogey.

The three competed in a chip off and Van Dyke came up as the winner with Vance taking second and Renihan finishing third. Kylee Duncan finished sixth with 13.5 points while Emma Howe rounded out the field in seventh with 12 points.
STUDENT-ATHLETE COMMENTS
- Mabrey Buis – It was a cool tournament to start out, but I think we came out here and fought the weather well. There weren't a lot of players, but we still played to the best of our ability. It was pretty cool getting ready for the HCAC Championships and I think we really got prepared for it this weekend.
- Chloe Renihan – This was a fun tournament before conference. We had some fun this weekend and we're ready to kill it at conference. Hopefully everyone plays well then.
- Kylee Duncan – I think the tournament was a fun layout. It definitely brought more competition into the group. I think everyone played the best that they could. The weather wasn't the best, but it was a great tournament.
- Emma Howe – It was a pretty good day. It was a little cold, but everyone played their best. It was nice to have the chance to play at Anderson. We're looking forward to conference next week.
