Ravens Progress in Defiance Invitational

The Anderson University women's golf team continued to progress during the two-day Defiance Invitational, which concluded on Sunday in Swanton, Ohio.
 
Taylor Gillum (Daleville, Ind./Daleville) tied for 62nd with a 36-hole score of 198. The freshman from Daleville carded rounds of 101 and 97 on the par-72 layout at White Pines Golf Course.
 
Haley Brown (Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights) made a 22-stroke improvement relative to par from last week. The freshman from Pendleton earned 68th with a score of 206, shooting rounds of 100 and 106.
 
Erica Smatlak (Clackamas, Ore./Clackamas) chopped off 41 strokes relative to par from last week. The freshman from Clackamas, Ore. tied for 71st, putting together a score of 223 behind rounds of 105 and 118.
 
The Ravens are scheduled to compete in the two-day Heidelberg Fall Invitational, beginning on Saturday at the Mohawk Golf and Country Club in Tiffin, Ohio.
