Women’s Tennis 2021-22 Season Preview
The Anderson University women’s tennis team is slated for two matches to open the season on Saturday at Moreland Park in Owensboro, Ky. Anderson faces off with NCAA Division II’s Oakland City University in a neutral-site matchup at 12 p.m. The Ravens then battle NCAA Division II’s Kentucky Wesleyan College at 2 p.m.

The Anderson University women's tennis team is slated for two matches to open the season on Saturday at Moreland Park in Owensboro, Ky. Anderson faces off with NCAA Division II's Oakland City University in a neutral-site matchup at 12 p.m. The Ravens then battle NCAA Division II's Kentucky Wesleyan College at 2 p.m.
Anderson went 4-8 last season with a 3-2 Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) record to take third in the conference standings. The Ravens then advanced to the HCAC semifinals.
Anderson returns five of six starters from last season, which includes Anderson's three first-team all-HCAC selections Anna Creech (Richmond, Ind./Richmond), Madelyn Brown (Sellersburg, Ind./Christian Academy of Indiana) and Megan Long (New Palestine, Ind./New Palestine). Creech, Brown and Long also each received HCAC Player-of-the-Week selections last season.
