Women’s Tennis Totals Eight ITA Scholar Athletes For 2023-24 Year
Eight Anderson University women’s tennis players were selected as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes, which was announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
Eight Anderson University women's tennis players were selected as Intercollegiate Tennis Association (ITA) Scholar Athletes, which was announced by the ITA on Wednesday.
Angelia Thorsen, Claire Hannaford, Ella Frantz, Gabby Hosier, Jenna Jenkins, Kate Oberle, Megan Long and Morgan Nation were each named ITA Scholar Athletes. The ITA recognized tennis athletes with at least a 3.5 GPA for the 2023-24 year.
Anderson women's tennis was selected as an ITA All-Academic Team. The Ravens have received ITA All-Academic Team honors in each of their six years of eligibility. Tennis teams with at least a 3.2 GPA for the 2023-24 academic year were recognized by the ITA with all-academic team honors.
Long has garnered ITA Scholar Athlete honors in each of her four years of eligibility. Frantz has been selected as an ITA Scholar Athlete both years she has been eligible. Hosier, Oberle and Thorsen earned ITA Scholar Athlete recognition in their first year of eligibility. Hannaford has collected ITA Scholar Athlete honors three times, Nation has garnered ITA Scholar Athlete recognition twice and Jenkins has been named an ITA Scholar Athlete once.
