Harley Selected as HCAC Offensive Player of the Week

Anderson University football standout Tyson Harley (New Palestine, Ind./Mount Vernon) was selected as the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Player of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.
Harley threw for 334-yards and three touchdowns for the Ravens (2-0) in Saturday's 27-23 win against Cincinnati Christian University (1-2). The freshman quarterback from New Palestine connected with Zac Tallent (Lakeland, Fla./George Jenkins) for a 31-yard touchdown pass to give the Ravens the lead with 46 seconds remaining. Anderson is on its first 2-0 start since 1996.
Harley finished 31-for-41 on the day. He also delivered an 11-yard touchdown pass to Elijah Crowe (Robinson, Ill./Logansport) and a 39-yard touchdown pass to Phenol Williams (Miami Shores, Fla./Miami Carol City).
The Ravens go head-to-head with Mount St. Joseph University (1-0) in non-conference action on Saturday at 1:30 p.m. in Cincinnati.
