Lions Top Ravens
Mount St. Joseph University topped the Anderson University football team 34-7 during Saturday's non-conference matchup in Cincinnati.

Michael Williams rushed for 48 yards and three touchdowns for Mount St. Joseph (2-0). Chaiten Tomlin threw for 310 yards and two touchdowns. Nick Murphy caught for 81 yards. Tomlin connected with Paul Monor and Jake Ayler for passing touchdowns.

Tyson Harley (New Palestine, Ind./Mount Vernon) totaled 280 passing yards for the Ravens (2-1). The freshman from New Palestine found Reggie Lipscomb (Indianapolis, Ind./Pike) for a 13-yard touchdown pass with 1 minute, 47 seconds left in the fourth quarter.

Charles Keith (Detroit, Mich./Franklin), Cole Patrician (Algonquin, Ill./Jacobs), Xavier Gee (Marion, Ind./Marion) and Christian Myers (Newport, Ind./North Vermillion) each paced the Ravens with five tackles. Brandon Goodman (Logansport, Ind./Logansport) and Andrew Coleman (Indianapolis, Ind./Covenant Christian) both provided sacks.

Payton Leugers led the Lions with eight tackles and also returned an interception 69 yards. Troy Speakman and Peyton Williams both came up with interceptions while Alvin Burke and J.J. Courtney recorded sacks.
