The Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) contest between the Anderson University football team and Hanover College on Saturday has been cancelled.
Based on this week's injury report and shortage of healthy players, the Anderson University athletics department and its athletics training staff have made the decision that competing in Saturday's football contest does not lie in the interest of student-athlete safety and well-being.
Anderson University will take the remainder of the semester to focus on healing from injuries and finishing strong academically in preparation for the fall 2021 season.
