Seven Anderson University football players earned all-Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) recognition, which was announced by the conference on Thursday.

Julian Holguin, Gavin Reners and Jacob Simpson each garnered second-team all-HCAC honors while Quinn Dreiband, Jackson Elder, Connor Huffman and Deitric Johnson received all-HCAC Honorable Mention.
Julian Holguin (Sr., Wide Receiver, Richmond, Ind./Richmond/Indiana Wesleyan University)

- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments –Julian made a lot of great plays for us offensively this season. He is one of the hardest workers around, and puts in a lot of time and effort into this team and being the best football player he can be. In addition to all he did on offense, he was a playmaker on special teams, making a big difference for us on our kickoff and punt teams.
Gavin Reners (So., Linebacker, Sheridan, Ind./Sheridan)

- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments – Gavin moved from defensive line as a freshman to linebacker this season and made a lot of plays for us on defense and on special teams. He grew tremendously throughout the season, which is evidence of his hard work throughout the year.

- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments – In his first year as a Raven, Jacob did a great job buying into the program and made a lot of great plays on defense and special teams. He brings a lot of passion and toughness to the team.
Quinn Dreiband (Jr., Offensive Lineman, Bluffton, Ind./Norwell)

- Played and started in 9 games on offensive line
- Played and started in 6 games on offensive line during conference season
- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments – Quinn stepped up as a good leader for our offense this season. He played multiple positions on the offensive line, playing at both tackle spots as well as at guard. He is unselfish in his play, and did a great job leading and communicating up front for our line.
Jackson Elder (So., Offensive Lineman, Port St. Lucie, Fla./Centennial)

- Played and started in 8 games on offensive line
- Played and started in 6 games on offensive line during conference season

- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments – Jackson displayed a lot of toughness this year, battling through a lot and still played at a high level. He brought a great presence to our offensive line unit and demonstrated the physical and mental toughness that the position requires.
Connor Huffman (Jr., Defensive Lineman, Pendleton, Ind./Pendleton Heights)

- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments – Connor is very consistent every day. He is known by his teammates as an extremely hard worker and can be counted on to always do what is expected of him and he will do anything for the team.

- Coach Jonathan Coddington's Comments – Deitric has a ton of passion and love for the game and for his teammates which is evident in his play. He made a big jump in the offense this season and was a big contributor both in the pass game and in the run game.
