Tull, Jose Sweep HCLC Athlete-of-the-Week Awards
Anderson University women’s lacrosse players Riley Tull and Kiki Jose swept the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Athlete-of-the-Week awards, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Anderson University women's lacrosse players Riley Tull and Kiki Jose swept the Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) Athlete-of-the-Week awards, which was announced by the conference on Tuesday.
Tull was selected as the HCLC Offensive Player of the Week for the first time this season and for the fourth time in her career. Jose was named HCLC Defensive Player of the Week for third week in a row. The freshman from Dublin, Ohio has received the accolade three times this season.
During Saturday's win against Bethany College (W.Va.) (2-4), Tull notched seven goals and two assists for nine points. Tull tied her single-game school record for most points in a game. The senior from Delton, Mich. also tied for the second-highest single-game goal total.
Jose held Bethany to eight goals, which ties for the sixth-fewest goals allowed in a game in school history.
