Ravens Fly Past Panthers

The Anderson University women's lacrosse team (7-6, 4-0) flew past Hanover College (4-8, 1-2) by a score of 15-3 on Saturday in Anderson.

Anderson clinched a top-two seed and a home playoff game during the HCLC Tournament.

COACH RUSSELL MACKEY COMMENTS

I'm very pleased with the sharing of the ball today and, again, the number of assists associated with our scoring. The defense also played outstanding (on Saturday), keeping Hanover's two dominant scorers to one goal a piece. Very good conference win against a good Hanover squad.

• Anderson was successful on 13-of-20 (65.0 percent) of their clears, while Hanover cleared successfully on 11-of-21 (52.3 percent)
• The Ravens came up with 14-of-22 (63.6 percent) of draws, including 7-of-9 in the second quarter
