Hanover College battled past the Anderson University women's lacrosse team with a 13-6 victory during Tuesday's Heartland Collegiate Lacrosse Conference (HCLC) matchup at Macholtz Stadium.
The Panthers (3-4, 2-1) and the Ravens (4-4, 1-2) battled through active snow throughout the contest.
Elizabeth Graham (Riverside, Ohio/Carroll) led the Ravens with three goals. Riley Tull (Georgetown, Ky./Scott County) contributed a goal and an assist. Kaitlyn Lawson (Newburgh, Ind./Castle) and Mallory Housman (Evansville, Ind./Reitz Memorial) netted goals while Emily Albert (New Albany, Ind./Christian Academy of Indiana) dished out an assist.
Samantha Huber (St. Louis, Mo./Westminster Christian) won a team-high seven draw controls. Albert, Housman and Madison Leonard (Flower Mound, Texas/Flower Mound) recorded three ground balls. Leonard saved 13 of the 26 shots she faced.
Anderson challenges Transylvania University (8-4, 3-0) in HCLC action on Saturday at 5 p.m. in Lexington, Ky.
