It's always a tough loss when you lose in overtime. The lady Ravens fought hard, and we had our opportunities. We'll learn from it and get better.
HOW IT HAPPENED
- The Fighting Muskies cleared 18-of-24 (75.0 percent), while the Ravens cleared 13-of-19 (68.4 percent)
- Anderson edged out the draw-control battle by coming up with 16 to Muskingum's 13
- The Fighting Muskies outshot the Ravens 31-25
- The first half was a game of runs as Muskingum had two 3-goal runs, with Anderson adding a 3-goal run of their own, trailing 7-4 at halftime.
- The Ravens came out of the half strong, outscoring the Fighting Muskies 5-1 in the third quarter and taking a 9-8 lead into the fourth quarter.
- The Muskies came back and took a 1-goal lead with 40 seconds remaining.
- Katte Escobar and the Ravens responded with a goal assisted by Nicole Patton with 17 seconds remaining in regulation.
- The Ravens ended up falling on a breakaway transition goal by Riley Hudock, assisted by Haley Clifton
