The Gyrenes (3-6) put up a nine-goal opening quarter while holding the Ravens (2-4) to just one. Both sides recorded one goal in the second as Ave Maria headed into halftime with a 10-2 lead over Anderson. The Ravens highest-scoring quarter came in the third when Mallory Housman and Gretta Mesarosh were both able to find the back of the net. The Gyrenes were able to put up four goals to keep their steady lead over the Ravens. Ave Maria sealed their victory in the final quarter with two goals and held Anderson to another one-goal quarter as the host school recorded a 16-5 victory over the visiting Ravens.
