Moore Sweeps HCAC Athlete-of-the-Week Awards
Anderson University women’s track and field freshman Delaney Moore (Indianapolis, Ind. / North Central) was named both the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Track Athlete of the Week and the HCAC Field Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Moore took 11th place in the high jump, clearing the bar at 1.53 meters (5 feet, 0.25 inches) during Saturday's Tiger Opener in Springfield, Ohio. The freshman from Indianapolis is tied for 39th in the nation in the high jump.
Moore sprinted to a 60-meter dash time of 8.39 seconds. Anderson also fielded a 4x200 relay team of Alexis Franklin (McCordsville, Ind. / Mount Vernon), Kayla Saunders (Louisville, Ky. / Presentation Academy), Jaycie Sones (Montpelier, Ind. / Blackford) and Moore, which took second with a time of 1 minute, 59.58 seconds.
The Ravens battle in the Dick Small Invitational on Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. in Defiance, Ohio.
