McKain Wins 5,000 in MSJ Invite

The Brownstown native currently leads the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference on the 5K leaderboard.
Sierra Kalli clocked a 1-mile time of 7 minutes, 16.67 seconds.
Anderson finished seventh in the MSJ Invite team standings.
During Friday's Warrior Indoor Invitational in Fort Wayne, Mikayla Conrad posted distances of 10.52 meters (34 feet, 6.25 inches) in the weight throw and 9.86 meters (32 feet, 4.25 inches) in the shot put.
Assistant coach Felisha Johnson locked up first-place finishes in both the shot put and the weight throw. She powered to distances of 17.67 meters (57 feet, 11.75 inches) in the shot put and 18.90 meters (62 feet, 0.25 inches) in the weight throw.
"We got better this week," Coach Nic Huffman said. "Our young team is doing a great job of focusing on quality workouts and competing hard. We have a lot to work on, but I'm excited to see how this season progresses."
The Ravens compete in the Taylor Trojan Invite on Saturday, Jan. 28 at 10 a.m. in Upland.
