Anderson University women's track and field athletes Becca Gregg and Noelle Loller closed out the season during the two-day Fighting Chance Meet, which concluded on Saturday in Joliet, Ill.
Gregg secured sixth place in the 1,500-meter open with a time of 5 minutes, 9.38 seconds. Loller clocked a time of 38:57.42 in the 10,000.
"This weekend had the first hot track meets we've seen all year," Coach Nic Huffman said. "With such a jump in temperature, it was difficult to handle the heat. We had a wonderful experience, a lot of fun and saw a lot of amazing competition. It was an important experience as we lead this young team to grow as a program and it was a great way to end the season. I'm proud of the athletes and coaches for all they do."
