Anderson University women's track and field junior Noelle Loller (Lapel, Ind. / Lapel) earned fifth place in the 3,000-meter run during Saturday's Sean Brady Alumni Invitational in Angola.
Loller clocked a personal-record (PR) time of 11 minutes, 5.13 seconds. The Lapel native scored four points as Anderson's lone competitor, slotting the Ravens 11th in the team standings.
Anderson finished with three wins and several PR's during Friday's Dick Small Invitational in Defiance, Ohio.
"Even though Noelle ran at a different meet, she followed the same theme of running a PR and being unsatisfied with the outcome like her teammates [on Friday]," Coach Nic Huffman said. "She had tough competition and fought to stay with the leaders the whole race. Overall, this weekend was a tremendous way to open a season."
The Ravens battle in the Larry Cole Invitational on Friday at 5 p.m. in Ada, Ohio.
