Julia Drier clocked a season-best 200-meter dash time of 29.71 seconds.
"This meet was the toughest competition we will face as a team all year," Coach Nic Huffman said. "We were the only D-III school to compete against some NAIA powerhouses. We didn't back down and we gave it our best. We have a lot more work to do, but I'm happy with how we approached [Friday]. We are improving; we focused on ourselves."
Anderson battles in the Taylor Trojan Invite on Saturday, Jan. 27 at 9:30 a.m. in Upland.
