Anderson University women's track and field junior Noelle Loller claimed second place in the 5,000-meter run during the Polar Bear Qualifier on Saturday in Ada, Ohio.
Loller clocked a time of 18 minutes, 39.20 seconds, busting her personal record (PR) by 45.58 seconds.
"We only took [a combined total of] four students this weekend," Coach Nic Huffman said. "We wanted to push ourselves and enjoy the experience, which we did. Noelle Loller had a really great race and the men pushed themselves. We all learned from the day and we're looking forward to the outdoor season."
Anderson kicks off its outdoor season on March 26 at 12 p.m. in the Robert Johnson Invitational in Crawfordsville.
