STUDENT-ATHLETE COMMENTS
- Lydia Dyer – I'm really proud of my team and how everyone did. I think they did a really good job. We were a little bit nervous going into the meet, just thinking that there's a lot of competition, and I think we really handled ourselves well. We rose to the level competition and we did the best we could do. Personally, I am proud of what I did, but I know that I can do better, so when I'm training, I'm going to work on getting my times down to what I want them to be.
- Noelle Loller – I think the meet went really well. The team did really good; we all showed up. We had a tough couple weeks of training, but we all showed up and really worked hard, so I'm proud of everyone. Individually, I think it went really well. I got a PR in the 3K. I came out and just ran with the completion and had some fun out here.
- Alexis Franklin – I think we did really well. I think we all fought hard for our positions. Each race, everyone ran hard and tried to keep up with everyone else. I think we were all encouraging each other and I think [Saturday] went really well.
COACH NIC HUFFMAN'S COMMENTS
We had an eventful day and were happy with the turnout. I was happy to bring a meet back to Anderson. The competition was tough. We kept our focus and competed hard. We're getting better each week and starting to figure our events out. Lots of work still to do, but things are starting to click. With two weeks until indoor conference, that's exactly what we want. The meet went really well as a host and that's due to all the great help we had around the program. I'd like to thank anyone that was involved in the day to make it go so well.
