Sweigart Receives HCAC Field Athlete-of-the-Week Selection
Anderson University men’s track and field freshman Michael Sweigart (Alexandria, Ind. / Alexandria-Monroe) received the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Field Athlete-of-the-Week selection, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Anderson University men's track and field freshman Michael Sweigart (Alexandria, Ind. / Alexandria-Monroe) received the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Field Athlete-of-the-Week selection, which was announced by the conference on Monday.
Sweigart captured fifth place in the shot put with a throw of 13.64 meters (44 feet, 9 inches) during Saturday's Tiger Opener in Springfield, Ohio. The Alexandria native is tied for 32nd in the nation in the shot put.
Sweigart also secured 11th in the weight throw with a toss of 12.85 meters (42 feet, 2 inches).
Anderson competes in the Dick Small Invitational on Jan. 14 at 1 p.m. in Defiance, Ohio.
