COACH NIC HUFFMAN'S COMMENTS
- We took very few, but the four guys we took showed up ready to compete.
- Michael Sweigart and Caleb Carrao had really amazing days with huge PR's in their events, both earning wins. I can't say enough about the leadership, work ethic and attitudes of these young men. I'm glad their hard work was able to show out [on Friday].
- Matt Cobb and Keegan Perez are freshmen getting acclimated to college track. They executed what we have been working on all fall and that is exactly what I wanted to see.
- The group was really supportive of each other and our opponents, which makes me really proud as their coach.
- Our throws coach Felisha Johnson won the shot put and weight throw, earning facility records with her tosses too.
- [Friday] was a tremendous way to start the season and I'm excited to see what our full team does starting January.
