COACH NIC HUFFMAN'S COMMENTS
I was really proud of how our team executed. We competed as hard as we could and a lot of them stepped up to make the meet go smoothly. We had a bunch of PR's or season bests, which is a great time to show up. It was a long, tough day, but we were resilient and put on a great meet. Michael Sweigart will continue out the remainder of the outdoor season and prepare for the national championships. The team did great in capping off the indoor season and we will be looking to be ready for more improvement throughout the outdoor season. As far as the administration and meet manager side, I felt great about the preparation and help I had. There were many people who stepped up and stepped in to make the day go so well. I'm thankful for all the wonderful people who played a part in making it go so well. I couldn't have done it without them.
MICHAEL SWEIGART'S COMMENTS
I came in with the mindsight numbers mean nothing coming into the meet. It's about how you do on that day and it went how I wanted in the weight throw. Shot put didn't fall my way, but I still finished second, so I'm not upset. Next stop is nationals!
