Sweigart Tabbed HCAC Field Athlete of the Week
Anderson University men’s track and field junior Michael Sweigart has been tabbed the Heartland Collegiate Athletic Conference (HCAC) Field Athlete of the Week, which was announced by the conference on Monday.

Sweigart highlighted his week by breaking the 18-year-old school record in the hammer with a throw of 57.60 meters (188 feet, 11.75 inches). The Alexandria native currently ranks 20th in NCAA D-III in the hammer.
Sweigart earned his fourth total weekly conference accolade and his second career selection during the outdoor season. He was also named HCAC Field Athlete of the Week during this indoor season.

- Hammer – 54.64 meters (179 feet, 3.25 inches) – 6th Overall – 5th in College Division
- Discus – 42.56 meters (139 feet, 7.5 inches) – 10th Overall – 9th in College Division
